NEUPC's Annual Report 2018-19

We are pleased to share NEUPC’s Annual Report 2018-19.

This past year has been an extremely successful and positive one for NEUPC. Alongside hosting our annual conference in March 2019 attracting over 100 HE professionals, we were planning for the Conference on University Purchasing 2019, the most popular procurement event on the HE calendars. Six brand new agreements were also launched this year with 3 re-tendered agreements.

We're particularly positive about the continued level of collaboration by our members. NEUPC have maintained a collaborative spend and benefit trajectory increasing collaborative spend by £111million to £407 million, a 37% increase on the prior year delivering £21.1 million and £13.8million cash and non-cash benefits respectively.

We continue to reach key departments and strengthen our relationships through collaborative work, this has been highlighted with our first career engagement day for schools, hosted at Newcastle University focused on careers in construction. We have also provided access to 11 free CPD topical training sessions attended by 175 delegates in total and remain the only CIPS accredited HE consortia in the UK to provide professional procurement qualifications.

Throughout the coming months, we will continue to deliver best value to our members and look forward to awarding new agreements and services to save time, money and resources.
