NEUPC - CIPS Study Centre, Read the Reviews

"I highly recommend the NEUPC CIPS Centre to anyone within the Higher Education sector who is considering undertaking CIPS training.

The value of having the standard CIPS material tailored to the specific characteristics and challenges of the sector should not be underestimated.  I have found the last 3 years of learning enormously beneficial for both personal development and career progression and do not feel that the professional benefits would have been as far-reaching had I not studied with a dedicated HE provider.

Sessions and activities were wide-ranging and engaging thanks to Debbie’s breadth of knowledge and experience within both the public and private sectors; and Debbie has been continually committed to giving her students a voice.  The flexibility of the centre has lightened the challenge of studying whilst working and learning with NEUPC feels like a truly collaborative experience"

Sarah Dye, Category Manager NWUPC

‘I’ve just completed my CIPS qualification and achieved Professional Diploma Level with the NEUPC.

The Tutors knowledge of the profession and the learning material provided is excellent and I found the whole experience extremely rewarding.

CIPS has enabled me to develop as a Procurement Professional, enabling me to implement the knowledge and skills that I have learnt into my everyday working practices. ‘

Joanne Jordan, Category Officer, University of Leeds

"Studying through NEUPC was a great opportunity for me to meet people in a similar role to me at other Universities – as a junior member of the team I wouldn’t necessarily get the chance to meet with other Universities at Category Group meetings and Conferences.

Building a network of peers has been invaluable to my studies and my development; it is an opportunity for insight into how other institutions work, being able to feedback new ideas to my team.

The course was contextualised to the University sector and also the End Point Assessment Report gave me the independence to develop a specialisation and take total ownership of a project which I am hoping will be adopted into our standard process now my Apprenticeship has finished."

Emily-Rose Day, Graduate Procurement Apprentice

NEUPC has places available for CIPS L4 and L5, as well on the L4 Procurement apprenticeship programmes with start dates in November or January.
