NEUPC appointed to Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers
NEUPC have been appointed to the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) as a supporting provider. The rigorous tender process assessed our capability and quality as an apprenticeship provider, as well as our financial health which was seen to be outstanding. This means that we can continue to act as a subcontractor to Main Apprenticeship Providers such as Leeds City College, however instead of being limited to just 12 apprentices, we can now take in the region of 50 apprentices if we so desire.
NEUPC CIPS Centre Manager, Debbie Shore: “success in getting on the RoATP means that we can continue to build on our capability and capacity as a provider of procurement apprentices to the university sector for which we are uniquely placed. As we already have ten Level 4 Procurement apprentices, with enquiries for several more, it was essential that we got on the RoATP to ensure we could continue to support universities with procurement apprentices funded by their apprenticeship levy.”
In addition, Debbie has recently been given positive feedback from the Ofsted Inspector of Leeds City College after an observation, highlighting the good work done in supporting apprentices.
Our CIPS Study Centre will be routinely re-assessed in April where we hope to be appointed as a “Centre of Merit”.
