Fantastic feedback for the NEUPC AV Event
After a fantastic day at the AV Event at Sheffield Hallam University on 22nd March, NEUPC staff, members and the AV manufacturers who attended were all extremely happy with how the day panned out.
We received excellent feedback from both manufacturers and universities, with a lot of praise on the format of the round table discussion in the afternoon.
We kicked the day off with the NEUPC AV Group Category Meeting, however, unlike usual category meetings, the first half of the meeting was open, giving the manufacturers a chance to listen in to what was being discussed.
We also incorporated a mini exhibition at the event, where the manufacturers were able to bring their best and latest AV technology to chat and network with our delegates.
In the afternoon, NEUPC’s Mark Hayter led the round table discussion.
This free-for-all discussion allowed attendees to explore and discuss the challenges facing buyers and the supply chain when addressing Audio Visual contracts for the Higher Education Sector and gave both sides a chance to speak directly to each other about these challenges.
We hoped that all left with a better understanding of the logistics of procurement, and to have contributed to the NEUPC AV Group’s on-going work towards mutually beneficial best practice.
We were delighted to see that 100% of our attendees found the day useful and would attend another event like this again.
