Information for Potential Suppliers

NEUPC is one of six HE regional purchasing consortia in the UK which lets and manages framework agreements on behalf of its members.

Some agreements are tendered exclusively for NEUPC members but in most cases NEUPC  collaborates with other regional purchasing consortia, which means that an agreement will be awarded by one consortium but will be available for other consortia to use.

NEUPC’s framework agreements are competitively tendered under EU public procurement regulations; upcoming agreements are advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

If you are interested in being made aware of NEUPC contract opportunities then you are advised to register under every business category in which you are interested via In-Tend, our e-sourcing solution.

Once registered, you will be notified of relevant tendering opportunities. Regular monitoring of the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) and the In-Tend e-Sourcing Solution is essential if you wish to tender to become an NEUPC supplier.

It is the supplier's responsibility to ensure that all contact details within the In-Tend system are up to date.

Registering does not mean you are an approved NEUPC supplier or enables you to sell to our Members. All NEUPC Agreements have undergone a formal tender process. NEUPC and its Members are Contracting Authorities under EU Procurement Directives and UK public procurement regulations.

NEUPC conducts business in a fair, open and transparent manner, upholding the highest standards of business integrity, and adheres to CIPS’s Code of Professional Ethics.

When registering, suppliers should only register their company once. You can register multiple contacts and they will have access to documentation published to the site, but this should be limited on a need to know basis.

Registering with the NEUPC does not automatically register you with our Higher Education Institution members or the other Purchasing Consortia. If you wish to participate in a member institution specific tender or another Consortia tenders you will be required to register separately with them. Links to the NEUPC members are on the NEUPC website.

When registering it is important that the main contact's e-mail address is entered into the "Publish E-mail" box, this is the address to which e-mail notifications will be sent for the following:

• Registration details including log in details.

• Notifications of progress of tender opportunities including Pre-qualification questionnaires and Tender documents.

• Any correspondence relating to the project.

You may use a general e-mail address so that other contacts are made aware of alerts or amend the "Publish E-mail" in the event of the main contact being unavailable. However, all users of the system can be alerted to all of the above when entering individual details by ticking the box “Send a copy of all e-mails/correspondence to this contacts e-mail account.”
